Fall Birdhouses
Class Fee: $45

Complete one gourd birdhouse with simple brushstrokes or with the use of a remarkable new technique using Watercolor Pencils. Watercolor Pencils are used to draw the pattern and color in the shapes. With the use of a damp brush, the colors blend like magic! You'll find yourself doing more shading and artwork once you discover how easy they are to use. All materials provided. Glass Painting and Firing in a Ceramic Kiln
Class Fee: $80

Learn the basics of painting and firing glass in a ceramic or glass kiln. Each participant will create one 11-inch glass piece ready for firing. All supplies and materials are provided, including a reusable glass draping cone.We'll discuss firing practices for glass with the use of digital and manual kilns. A variety of glass colors will be available. Please bring a flat box to take glass home. As a bonus, we'll cover cool techniques for using ceramic overglazes on glass. Glass Fusing

Work with small fusing projects and learn different shapes, designs and ideas.  Learn about special papers, dichroic glass, decals and other creative tricks. This class would be a good follow-up to the basic glass-cutting class. This will be a hands-on-workshop and items will be fired for you. Click the photo for close up shots.

Glass Cutting and Decorating
Fee: $45.00

Learn the basics and tricks of cutting glass without investing a lot of money in special tools.  This class will teach you the basics of cutting and warm glass fusing.  Learn basic techniques using decals and other unique products.  You will be given a chance to make a piece of fused glass jewelry which will be fired for you. Tissue Paper Crinkle Underglaze Technique - fast, easy and fun -
Class Fee: $15.00

Using a bisque mug as the base, students will crinkle up tissue paper, apply to cup and apply thinned down EZ strokes to the paper which will leave a crinkled pattern on the bisque cup - designs may be added either by hand drawing or using rubber stamps (provided), after a glaze firing a decal may be placed on the cup and the cup re-fired - come and join us 'just for fun'.  All supplies will be provided - bring a take home box if you'd like - but bags and wrapping supplied. Diffusion On Potters Stone Buff
Class Fee: $45.00

This technique is learning to use CFE Clear Glaze Diffusion on our Potters Stone Buff with CC’s for the design.  It is a Majolica technique.

You will need to bring the following brushes: Large goat fan brush, Paula’s Sumi brushes, #2 sable liner, #6 sable square shader and a take home box for a10” plate. Click the photo for a larger view.

Halloween Tree

The tree will be painted with stains and decorated with all halloween characters. Student needs to bring, turntable, gluegun, glue stixs, different sizes of stain brushes, a 1" brush, paint well palette and a take home box
